It's time for the 42nd annual Linden Hills Festival! At the festival you'll find fun activities for kids, a silent auction, a community art fair and marketplace, delicious food, live music and more!
Find us at the Art Fair and Marketplace as we talk about our Grand Opening on June 25th! Stop by and get hydrated with samples of fruit-infused water and check out our 40th Anniversary LHC t-shirts and bags for sale!
Linden Hills Co-op is sponsoring the Zero Waste Initiative at the festival! For an event to be zero waste, it means that at items used at the event (serving dishes and utensils, wrappers, etc) must be reuseable, recycleable or compostable. Last year, with over 3,000 people in attendance, the festival only produced one bag of trash. The Linden Hills Festival has been a zero waste event since 2008 and the co-op is proud to support this initiative again this year.
Neighborhood Garage Sale, Saturday, 8am-2pm, Linden Hills Neighborhood
Take a walk around the neighborhood for the neighborhood garage sale! New this year, the businesses in the 43rd and Upton area are participating! Stop by the stores for unique finds. You'll find a find maps of particpating homes and businesses in Linden Hills stores soon! You'll be sure to find great deals and fun treasures!
Linden Hills Library Book Sale, Sunday 11am-3pm, Linden Hills Park Building
Did you donate a book at the co-op this month? Each year, the co-op serves as a collection site for donated books for the Linden Hills Library Book Sale that takes place during the Linden Hills Festival. Friends of the Linden Hills Library sort the donated books and sell them at the festival. All proceeds from the book sale go to the Linden Hills Library.
