Locally Laid

"For us, it’s about getting real food to local folks, while treating livestock and the planet well in the process."

Locally Laid is a mission-based farm in Wrenshall, Minnesota. They're committed to sourcing and selling high quality eggs regionally and strengthening rural economies.

Locally Laid partners with farmers in Henriette, MN, Kalona, IA and Middlebury, IN, which allows them to provide greater access to eggs from hens who exercise, seasonally forage and engage in instinctual behaviors year round.

Locally Laid eggs come from chickens that get outside, eat off the land and exercise, which makes for a healthier and more delicious eggs than their conventional counterparts.

Pasture raised eggs have:

• 1/3 less cholesterol
• 1/4 less saturated fat
• 2/3 more vitamin A
• 4 to 6 times the vitamin D
• 2 times more omega-3 fatty acids
• 3 times more vitamin E
• 7 times more beta carotene

Locally Laid chickens eat non-GMO corn, wander freely on fresh pastures, and are raised in sustainable flock sizes for healthier and happier birds.
