Rushing Waters Trout

Sustainably farmed trout from Palmyra, Wisconsin

Rushing Waters Fisheries is located in Palmyra, WI, about 350 miles southeast of the Twin Cities. Rushing Waters has been sustainably farming trout on their farm located within the Kettle Moraine State Forest since 1999.

The trout at Rushing Waters are raised in spring-fed ponds and raceways, with natural mud bottoms and grass-lined shores. Rushing Waters uses chemical and antibiotic free, all natural processes to raise their fish in very cold 49 degree water. The fish are fed a high protein diet containing no animal byproducts as well as wild foods found in the ponds.

Rushing Waters also has a smoke house onsite. They smoke their own farmed raised trout as well as several varieties of salmon in tasty flavors like classic hickory, 3 pepper and lemon dill.

If you ever find yourself in Palmyra, Rushing Waters welcomes visitors to come catch their own dinner in the trout ponds or sit down to a seasonal meal at their Trout House Restaurant.

You'll find Rushing Waters smoked trout and salmon in our meat and seafood department, along with their smoked salmon and trout spreads.
